In the next journal club meeting, this Thursday, we will discuss two papers on cryo-EM studies of large dsDNA viruses: "Cryo-electron microscopy of the giant mimivirus" by C. Xiao et al (Journal of Molecular Biology 353 (2005) p493-496) and "Structure and assembly of large lipid-containing DNA viruses" by X. Yan et al (Nature Structural Biology 7 (2000) p101-103).
