Dear all,

This Thursday at the next journal club meeting we will discuss the following paper: "The 6-kiloDalton membrane protein of semliki forest virus is involved in the budding process" by Loewy et al, Journal of Virology 69 (1995) p 469-475. The link to the paper is: http://jvi.asm.org/cgi/reprint/69/1/469 . Note that I have spelled semliki correct this time (see Brownbag #65). It is not semlike which would imply that it would look like or behave as a Scanning Electron Microscope which it doesn't, I guess. Apparently semliki refers to a region on the border between The Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda.
